My new nick name is officially….Bri Bri. (more on that in a minute)
Today I worked with Bridget, Trenton & Maddie. A couple weeks ago I got an email from Bridget who was looking to have some special images created for her husband this Father’s Day. At our consultation Bridget mentioned that Trenton was a little more reserved and that Maddie was very outgoing. Boy was Bridget right. Maddie not only warmed up to me right away, but before long she was climbing all over me and had named me…Bri Bri! Read more.. »

On Saturday afternoon I worked with Jessie. We were joined by her mom, her friend Kelsey and awesome hair stylist Paula. The session started out a little rough as we worked our way through 30 mph winds. All of the locations that I initially planned on using were a total bust. Jessie has awesome long brunette hair with loves to fly in the wind. Read more.. »

This afternoon I worked with Nora, her dad Mike and her friends Liz & Chelsea. It was an absolute riot. Nora’s dad hung back while Liz & Chelsea worked their magic, inspiring Nora to do her best. I’m not sure everything that was going on behind me as I was shooting, but what ever Liz & Chelsea were doing was working. At one point I think I heard 3 voices from the movie Ice Age? After that it was some other crazy voices. Maybe they have a future in cartoons? Read more.. »

Kristina is the happiest person I’ve ever met. She is so genuine, so contagiously happy that its just fun to be around her.
For our session we had my absolute favorite light. The sun was nice & low in the sky and thinly veiled by clouds, just enough to take the edge off the light. Read more.. »

This afternoon I worked with Katie, her mom and her sister. Katie cracked me up. She had seen the work I had done for her friends, but had nothing specifically in mind for her session. She knew she wanted to keep it local, she didn’t want her pictures to feel posed, but beyond that she was open to ideas. Read more.. »

It was great working with Alyssa, her mom, her sister, and her friend. Now that I think about it, this is one of the bigger groups I’ve had in a while. Alyssa was a great sport and we had a great time. Read more.. »

There are some things about Erin that just made me laugh. When she goes to Chipotle Mexican restaurant she usually eats 2 burritos. I’m not sure which is more amazing, the fact that she can eat 2 burritos at a time or that she hasn’t ballooned up to 500 pounds! She also has more funky dance moves than anyone I’ve met. Again, is it the dance moves that are so amazing, or the fact that she can do them in a monster pair of heels?!! Read more.. »

Saturday was a gorgeous day. With Logan we did the Minneapolis experience and for the first time I ventured to the U of M campus. During a busy school day I wouldn’t try it, but over a weekend it is perfect.
For the most part, guys are pretty apprehensive about senior pictures. Girls play dress-up from the time they are able to walk, but for guys this is foreign territory. Read more.. »

For Ashley’s session we went to downtown Minneapolis and had a blast. We were joined my her mom and her friend Erica. Last fall I had a session with Erica and it was great to see her again. She did a great job as “Reflector Girl” and helped keep things light and fun. Read more.. »
