Amanda’s Senior Session

Amanda is a theater girl.  Need I say more?

Working with Amanda was so much fun.  For her shoot, she wanted some things where she could be a princess in her pink dress.  She also wanted some images in a coffee shop and some things with a little city grit too (but not too much).

The first images were created on the steps of the St. Paul Cathedral.  The day that we photographed was crazy windy, gusting to 35mph out of the WNW.  Luckily for us the side that I wanted to photograph faces east.  Staying close to the cathedral worked well.  Talk about a huge wind block!

After that we headed into lowertown St.Paul to a coffee shop that I found while doing a Google search.  The rest of the images were also created in lowertown.

My favorite part of the shoot was in the coffee shop.  Window light, jeans and a white t-shirt never looked better.  I love the simple setting, a great place to really focus on expression, a perfect fit for our theater girl!

Thanks Amanda for a fun session and for bringing your range of expression.  Enjoy you sneak peek!
