Cassie – Tice Photography Class of 2013 Ambassador – Session #2

Last week I had session #2 with Cassie. She is a class of 2013 Tice Photography ambassador. Here are some images from that session. Enjoy!

On Saturday afternoon I had a shoot with Cassie. She is a junior right now, but not for long! Cassie is one of the Tice Photography class of 2013 ambassadors who will be helping me get the word out there. I’m already booking class of 2013 sessions for June & July. I’m even getting inquiries for fall sessions. So, if you are about to become a senior, now is the time to get your session scheduled. I work with 100 seniors each year and that’s it!
For Cassie’s shoot, she wanted all new stuff, things nobody else has done, things in the city, things with color and creativity. I knew the general area that I wanted to shoot, but the specifics were going to be worked out during the shoot. This was “freestyle”, with a little “winging it” thrown in. I like to do that from time to time to open my eyes to new possibilities.
The first images were near Minneapolis City Hall. After that we were near the Metrodome. We wrapped up the session in Dinkytown. I’ll be exploring this part of town even more in the weeks & months ahead.
I love that Cassie had her outfits thought through from top to bottom. I also loved that she knew exactly the feel she wanted in her images. (try matching up a background with teal sometime!!) She loves photography and creating her own images. It is a ton of fun to volley ideas back & forth.
