There are some sessions where everything just clicks.  Imagine a family with perfect children that do everything they are asked to do.  Imagine loving parents who are totally calm and never get excited about anything.  Now picture grandparents who just sit back and admire the wonderful family that they’ve created, the picture of everything that a family should be.

It is Monday morning.  Last night we returned from a summer road trip to Kalamazoo, MI for a reunion of the China Chicks.  Almost 7 years ago we traveled to China with 15 other families to adopt our daughters.  It is crazy to think of how quickly time passes.

A week ago I had a session with Delaney & Maleah in Anoka.  For their session, their mom and I talked about doing some things with natural elements, and something with a pop of red.  For clothing, sundresses as well as jeans & t-shirts were in order.  Oh, and a flower girl dress for good measure too.  :-)

Yesterday I spent the day in Hutchinson.  Hutchinson is the home to Vivid Image, the company that hosts my website and makes me look really good online.  Hutchinson is also the home to the Sanders family.  In the morning I photographed the Vivid Image team and in the afternoon I got to work with the Sanders kids.
