A little over a week ago I had a session with Courtney. She is one of the class of 2012 Tice Photography ambassadors and has been doing an awesome job. For her session she really wanted some images at Minnehaha Falls and some field images too.
We had a mini-session in the spring and this was her full session. In the spring her mom joined us, which was pretty cool. For the full session her dad joined us. There is something really cool when dads come along. Being a papa to 3 daughter myself, watching little girls grown into young women is a little scarey, and remarkable at the same time. I know my day is coming when I’ll be photographing my girls when they graduate. They have already been talking about where they want to go for their images!
For Courtney, she will never really know what the session meant to her dad until she has kids of her own someday. (I know I know, 1 step at a time. That is a long way away….or is it?)
