Last week I had a session with Dylan. For anyone who follows my blog, you know that I love working with high school seniors, most of whom are young women. When guy sessions come along, it is a HUGE treat. Break out the guys stuff. Time for cars and bikes and GUY STUFF!!!
For Dylan, he wanted a cool car and motorcycle. For me the challenge is to use these elements without making the car or bike the main focal point. With cars, I prefer not to show the entire car and use interesting bits. Also, if cars and bikes are used in images, I think it is really important to have them in the right context. Having a car parked on a lawn makes no sense at all.
I need to give credit where credit is due. The bike belongs to his uncle, who lives in the Anoka area. The car belongs to his aunt. A huge thanks to both for joining us on the session!
Thanks so much Dylan for a fun session. Enjoy your sneak peek!
