A few days ago I had the opportunity to work with Erin. We were joined by her friends Mariah & Erin. Erin is a good friend of Katie’s (July ‘09 session) and has many of the same tastes. I wanted to make sure that this session didn’t turn into Katie 2.0.For both young women the goal was to incorporate rural elements in a fresh way. Even though we went to similar areas, lighting was different and I really tried to expand the color pallet. For Erin, I loved the turquois blue wall which picked up some of the same tones in her dress. For the field part of the session, I tried for a completely different tone, something other than a wheat field or other grain. Anyone care to name that crop?
For Erin we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. With her long brunette hair we barely had any wind at all, which made life much easier. At the end of the session we were able to utilize the last night of the day. With all the fires out west, the added haze made for even softer, warmer light. Unbelievable.
Enjoy your sneak peek Erin. Great job!
