Its definitely my peak season. Weddings are coming on strong and high school seniors are realizing that its time to do their senior images. So all at once the phone rings! Its exciting and a little overwhelming at the same time.
No matter how busy I get, the moment I pick up my camera for a session, everything else fades away. There is nothing quite like it.
For Greg & Kelsey’s wedding we had a perfect day for an outdoor wedding. The ceremony and reception were held at the Refuge in Oakdale. It was my first time shooting at this location and I really enjoyed it.
For me, the thing I will remember most from their wedding is the wedding party learning and rehearsing The Hustle. While the girls were all getting ready for the big day, the guys were ready to go with time on their hands. So when I went into the reception area to get a drink of water I heard music playing, feet moving in unison and hands clapping. As I walked around the corner there were a dozen guys all getting down!!! John Travolta would have been proud! Talk about a perfect photo op.
