From time to time a graduating high school senior comes through my door who makes me tilt my head and go… “huh?” Every session starts at my place with a consultation, usually a week or so before the actual session. It’s a time for us to get to know each other and for me to learn what makes each person tick. As a result, the images capture each person in a unique way.
With Hayleigh, I found out pretty quickly that she is into all things country. She was looking for rural elements in her images and had no interest in anything new & shiny, or anything remotely urban. This is the part that made me tilt my head…. Most seniors who like country music usually are into Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, etc. It’s country music, but it’s new. Hayleigh went in the other direction. Her favorites? Hank Williams Sr., Johnny Cash, Conway Twitty and more! (Sounds like a Time Life commercial)
