On Thursday afternoon I had a session with Haylie. This was a follow-up to her April mini-session.
Scroll down and you will see some images created in Minneapolis. The first session was more about brick & mortar, things more gritty. For the second session we added a little nature and some cleaner lines.
Her cousin Katie joined us. Katie was responsible for telling more of her friends about Tice Photography than any other person I’ve worked with. She is nea and dear to my heart and it was great to see her again.
Haylie, thanks so much for a fun session. As always, you photograph so well and are wonderful to work with.
Best wishes,
BT

On Friday morning I had a session with Haylie in Minneapolis. We were joined by her cousin Katie, who I worked with last summer. We got about 20 minutes into the session and it started to rain. Thunder and lightening followed. It wasn’t the best conditions for hair.
I always have a plan B in case of rain, so we headed to the Minneapolis Post Office down at river level. There is a 2 block long corridor with gray granite columns. There is always north facing light, a great plan B place when if a rain shower comes up.
When we drove to the place, my jaw dropped. Between each column the post office had installed an iron fence. The entire 2-block stretch had been sealed off forever! For any of my past clients who may have visited this location with me, enjoy your images because there won’t be any more like them.
On to plan C. Luckily the rain stopped and we were able to continue. Through the entire thing Haylie was just going with the flow and having a great time. Her hair survived the experience and her images turned out fabulous.
Enjoy your sneak peek Haylie!
