This afternoon I met Heather, her sister and her mom downtown Minneapolis. It was an absolutely fabulous fall day.
Heather’s session was a little bit different than most. She had actually gone downtown Minneapolis a week before her shoot and scoped out a bunch of locations. We started off by looking at her list of ideas and reviewed the many clothing options she had brought. I was impressed to say the least.
After uploading the images Heather’s eyes about knocked me over. For the most part I do very little doctoring of my images. I bump contrast slightly, retouch where needed, and thats about it. I don’t do crazy things to eyes. What you see is what you get. In Heather’s case, the clothing combinations and great light made her eyes come alive. This is the kind of thing that keeps me picking up my camera every day.
Heather and her sister had me laughing through most of the session. I can’t image what it is like at their house when all 3 sisters are together!
