On Saturday morning I had a session with Joy, her husband Mike and 2 kids. We were also joined by Joy’s extended family for some of the images but for simplicity sake I’m going to feature her kids for this post. The coolest thing about this session was getting to reconnect with Joy after 20+ years. We both graduated from Elk River High School and we actually rode the same school bus for many years. When she popped up on Facebook and wanted to schedule a session I was thrilled.
For the session we worked at Joy’s mom’s place, a farm outside Elk River that used to raise sheep. I love photographing on farms. I love getting out into the country. It is a real treat for me. Joy’s kids were great to work with. Luckily for us the rain held off long enough to complete the session.
I’m excited to show these images to the family in full detail in my client room. The images look great on screen, but when they are enlarged, it is a whole different story.
Thanks so much for a great session Joy & Mike. Enjoy your sneak peek.
