A Sunday afternoon, an ice cold Diet Cherry Coke poured over a big glass tumbler full of ice…. My mouth is watering as the little fizz bubbles float magically to the top. Mmmmm Sip…. Perfect!
OK, back to my blogging!
Last Thursday I had a session with Jackie in St.Paul. Jackie is really into music, jazz specifically. At her consultation it was pretty clear that an urban setting would be best. Anything natural would be from a city park.
When we pulled up to one of the locations, Jackie mentioned that her family lived in one of the buildings overlooking the place we were about to photograph. Go figure!
My favorite part of the session was working at Mickey’s Diner. I have photographed there 2 other times and each time the owner and staff have been awesome. If you’re a photographer and considering Mickey’s Diner, choose your time very carefully. Mickey’s seats maybe 30 people? For most of the day the diner is full. Servers don’t take kindly to photographers getting in their way! With regard to my choice of time….imagine the old knight at the end of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade…”He chose WISELY!!!!”
Thanks for a fun session Jackie! Enjoy your sneak peek.
