Jacob’s GQ Session

Earlier this week I had the opportunity to work with Jacob.  I had been looking forward to this session for a long time.  Jacob’s step dad is one of my best friends and I love him like a brother.  Jacob’s mom Julie is pretty groovy too and has a great sense of style. We started at their home.  Their living room had great light, with a north facing window and, ummm, well…(I’m drooling)……an Eames Chair and Ottoman.  I couldn’t pass that one up.  After that, we headed into Minneapolis.  Thats all I’ll say about that.  The location with the red “womb” chair and other cool stuff I’m going to keep to myself.  Lets just say it was very cool.

Jacob is an athlete, but we didn’t want to make images with the actual sports featured.  Instead, we wanted it to feel like an athlete was being photographed for a GQ feature.  Long lean limbs, stylish, casual, not overdone…   I’m very pleased with the end result.

Great job Jacob!  Enjoy your sneak peek,

BT
