Katie, you’re killing me!!!
Photographing Katie was great because she brought expression. I love that. There is nothing boring about Katie. The black & white images were so much fun to make.
We photographed on a Thursday in Minneapolis which means the farmer’s market was open. Nicollet Mall in the summer is one of my favorite things about Minneapolis. We were picking up a few things to take home with us and we bumped into WCCO sports caster Mark Rosen. He is just as cool in person as he is on camera.
After the market we photographed in Peavey Plaza, which is scheduled for demolition sometime soon. For Katie’s images we got a cool location to photograph, and a piece of Minneapolis history. You just can’t get that in a studio.
My favorite image from the session is the closeup that I used as a feature image. Great expression, warm light, color that pops, perfect.
Great job on location Katie. Thanks for killing me on your shoot!
