On Wednesday afternoon I met with Kelsey & Greg along Lake Calhoon for their engagement session. After that we headed to some other locations in the downtown area. We had a great time together. Engagement sessions are so important to the overall wedding experience. Not only are the images fun and relaxed, showing the couple in a natural light, but it is a warm-up for the big day. It gives me a chance to get to know Kelsey & Greg and bring out their best on the wedding day. Plus, there are many fun things that can be done with the images.
It was fun getting to know Kelsey & Greg. Because I’m a photographer, I’m always studying the non-verbal ways that couples communicate. The eyes say everything. I guess thats why so many poker players wear sunglasses! Greg could give Kelsey a certain look and she would just melt. And, sorry Greg, its the same way when Kelsey looks at you. Its a wonderful thing to observe. You two are great together.
