Kelsey’s Senior Session

This afternoon I had a very cool session with Kelsey.  For every shoot I have 6 or 7 location possibilities in mind based on things my clients have told me they like.  Sometimes I stick with the plan and other times I get on location and spot places that I never would have thought of.  Today I stuck with 2 places from the original list and everything else was completely spontaneous.  Its so much fun when everything really clicks.

Kelsey and her mom were so much fun to work with.  I love that Kelsey is an art student.  When we got together for her consultation, she had some ideas and as we talked the idea of a classic diner came to mind.  So, we started at Mickey’s Diner in St.Paul.  I loved having the locals in the images.  It feels genuine.  After that we did some work in lowertown and midtown.  I would talk about some of the other locations, but I’m not ready to give out all of my secrets.  When I find cool new places its kind of a big deal.

Thanks for a great session Kelsey.  Enjoy your sneak peek,

BT
