On the afternoon of Saturday 10/15 I had a session with Kristina and her family. Kristina graduates this coming spring, and before she heads out the door to collage never to be seen again, her parents wanted to do some family images. (I’m sure she will come home all the time, crying every day, missing her little sister so much!)
So we started our adventure at Kristina’s place and the family. The wind was CRAZY out in the country fields, but in their backyard we found a place that was lower and more protected. Most of all, the light was really good. Great stuff.
After that, we headed to an old farm not too far away for things with texture. It is always fun to see how the oldest nastiest things photograph so well. The more peeling paint and rust and crumbling stuff and spiders (maybe not the spiders), the better. Great find Kristina.
I should also mention the spectacular reflector work by Kristina’s friend Amy (who I photographed the following Wednesday). Nice work!!
My favorite thing about working with Kristina? Her voice…and her sense of humor…and her love of Keith Urban…and her crazy little sister. Good times.
Kristina, thanks for a fun session. Enjoy your sneak peek!
