On Saturday afternoon I worked with Lisa again.  Earlier this winter we made some images on her school auditorium stage that were really fun.  Working with musicians, dancers & artists are the sessions I enjoy most. 

For this session we started at the old Schmitt Music building in Minneapolis with the great big wall of music.  The challenge was to create some fun images and at the same time crop out all the cars in the parking lot next to the building.  What we got was really cool.  Lisa is very talented and at ease on stage.  All this translates well in front of the camera, making her a joy to photograph.  After that we headed into St. Paul and did some things at the State Capitol building.

Not only did I have fun creating her images but I also loved hearing all her plans for next year as she continues her vocal studies and untimately heads to Braodway!  I’ll get to say, “I knew her when….”
