Liz’s Senior Session

image

Liz and her mom met me at the house this afternoon and showed me the outfits they had chosen for their session. We decided to stay in and around Anoka, so when Liz pulled out a cute little black dress, my mind started racing as to where we could go. Anoka doesn’t have a cathedral with large pillars or other large buildings with classics architectural lines. I wanted something sophisticated and unexpected. So, I came up with the parking ramp in downtown Anoka. Let me say it again….we went to the parking ramp downtown Anoka.

When I suggested it, Liz’s mom looked at me as if to say “you’re joking, right?”. But, she was a great sport and played along. Most people see a parking garage, but I see beautiful light and great lines. The metal bars cast long shadows across the foreground. I love the depth to the images.

After the parking garage we moved on to other prominent locations in and around Anoka. Where? Well, I can’t reveal all of my locations.

Nothing could be better than combining great light and compositional lines with a beautiful young woman in a great outfit. Liz did an awesome job!
