On Saturday afternoon I worked with Mary. We were joined by her friend Gina and her mom and had a great time together.
Before I go any further, you need to know that I’ve known Mary since she was 3 years old. Her family is very special to ours, so this session is one that I’ve been anxiously awaiting for a long time.
Working with Mary is about as close as I’ve come to knowing what it will be like when my own kids graduate from high school. She has grown from a shy little girl to the beautiful young woman in these images.
Mary plays piano incredibly, the result of many years of dedication. Including the piano in her session was a must. She also wanted something more refined & elegant but not stuffy, some images that were more casual and reflect the city, as well as her passion for snowboarding. I think we accomplished all that and more.
