Last night I was at the Minnesota Twins game.  Immediately following the game KTIS hosted a Jars of Clay concert at the Metrodome.  A month or so ago the station contacted me about the event and I have been looking forward to it ever since.  Photographing musicians is one of my favorite assignments.  Photographing musicians while they perform?  Better yet!  Doing it all at the Metrodome added a fun little twist.  Christian music, after a baseball game in a dome stadium is a strange mix on paper, but seeing it in images works.  The lines in the dome ceiling looked like a new twist on a cathedral ceiling.  Its amazing how context can do that.  Add to it the fog machine blowing the fog up & over the crowd and into the upperdeck. It looked, well, Biblical, straight out of the book of Acts!

A huge thanks to KTIS for giving me the nod again.  I enjoyed every minute.

Man, this really make me wish I’d been there even more. Great photos :) Definitely got the energy there, especially the close-ups.
