On Tuesday evening I had a session with Philip & Mikayla.  When Mikayla graduated from high school I did her senior images.  Since then she has referred me to several of her friends for wedding photography and have seen her many times over the last few years.

Last winter I knew that she and Philip were soon to be engaged and when she called with the news I was thrilled for them.  Getting to work with Mikayla on her wedding day is something I’ve been looking forward to.

For their engagement session, we wanted something with water, something with sand, casual, & fun.  So, we went to a park north of Anoka and worked along one of the area lakes.  Mikayla’s mom also joined us, which made for a fun time together.
Enjoy your sneak peek Philip & Mikayla and good luck with the rest of your wedding plans.
