Last Friday I had a session with Rachel. Yes last Friday was Halloween and yes we had our session anyway. We originally had scheduled the session about a week earlier, but October in Minnesota can be a little unpredictable. So, we moved the session a little bit later and it was a good call. Friday was perfect.
I loved working with Rachel. She is fun and has her own style. She is comfortable in front of the camera and a joy to work with.
For her session we went to St.Paul and worked mostly in lowertown. The images that were taken on the fire escape were some of my favorite from the session. I’m glad they turned out because I sure worked for it. The bottom stair of the fire escape was out of reach by about 2 feet. Going forward I’m going to add a rope with a grappling hook to my gear. So no ladder, no rope w/grappling hook….the only thing left was to scale the wall, grab the iron supports and hoist myself up. It could have been an embarrassing moment or even a little dangerous, but everything worked out. Anything for the shot!
