Last Friday I had a session with Rachel.  We were joined by her mom, dad and brother.  2 years ago I got to work with the family on Nate’s graduation images and Rachel totally cracked my up.  I’ve been looking forward to working with the family again.

As you can tell from the images, Rachel is into horses and all things country.  Incorporating the country vibe was important, but we never wanted to loose sight of her feminine side.

For the first part of the session Rachel’s dad found an awesome location just north of St.Francis, a place they buy hay from for their horses.  Some of the outbuildings were easily from the 1800s.  They gnarlier the better!  I’m a sucker for red barn wood every day.  After that we photographed along Lake George and then headed back to their house for some images with one of their horses.

I loved working with Rachel because she is who she is whether the camera is up or not.  She wasn’t trying to be something she wasn’t.  What you see is what you get.  That is so cool.

Thanks for a great session Rachel.  Enjoy your sneak peek.
