I loved working with Sam yesterday. This is the first time I’ve worked with a dancer and it was AWESOME. Below is just a sample of the 100+ dance images that I took. There are so many cool shots. I love how expressive each image is. Its impossible to dance and be shy. The entire body expresses what is happening on the inside and it is such a beautiful thing. Ballet, tap, ballroom, you name it, any chance I get to shoot dance in the future I’ll take it. I’m officially addicted.
Now if I haven’t already embarrassed Sam, it is about to get really good. Yesterday was pretty hot & humid so sweat becomes an issue for us all. We’re all human and its a fact of life. One of my favorite moments yesterday came when Sam announced that she had 7 layers of deodorant on. I won’t make fun of it though because I have my obsessive compulsive areas too. It’s nice to see I’m not the only one. I do have to say that with all the dancing she did, I didn’t have to retouch any armpits. Here’s to 7 layers of protection!
