In mid-December I had the honor of photographing Scott & Lindsay’s wedding. December weddings are an absolute favorite, with all the Christmas colors and lights everywhere, it’s a beautiful time of year.
Scott & Lindsay were married at the Fort Snelling Chapel. If you’re into Minnesota history, Fort Snelling is one of the first areas that Europeans settled when arriving in Minnesota. The chapel was built within the last 100 years and is a great place for a wedding. The beams in the inside sanctuary and the exterior stone are great features.
The wedding was beautiful and working with Scott & Lindsay and their extended family and friends was a real joy. After the ceremony we headed to Rice Park in downtown St.Paul. We created images in the park itself, and also in the St.Paul Hotel. A year ago Scott proposed to Lindsay at the hotel. This summer we had an engagement session in Rice Park, so it was only fitting to double back for wedding images. The images of Lindsay in front of the mirror were taken in the ladies room at the hotel…..by me….it was well choreographed….please don’t take away my man card! These and some of the other interior images were among my favorites of the season with a great old Hollywood feel.
Thanks so much Scott & Lindsay for including me in your big day. Enjoy your sneak peek!!
