On Saturday afternoon I had an engagement session with Brian & Shannon. We created their images in Minneapolis and incorporated worn man-made elements with some natural things and could not have asked for a more perfect day. Brian & Shannon used to live near the Acme comedy club and have since moved to Montana for Brian’s work. For this past weekend they were back for a wedding and the timing worked great for their session.
Brian & Shannon are easily one of the most relaxed couples I have ever met. I’m looking forward to their wedding day because I know that no matter what happens, they’ll totally roll with it. Engagement sessions are great because I get a chance to see how each couple will interact. Some couples banter all the time. Other couples are sugar sweet, like downing a dozen Pixie Sticks all at once. Brian & Shannon? I think they are somewhere in between. I am willing to bet though that Shannon can keep everyone in their place, if she has to!
Great session. Enjoy your sneak peek!

I love the pictures of Shannon and Brian. It shows how much they really love each other and how well they get along with each other, as well as relate to one another. Brian I am looking forward to having you as my son-in-law.
The pictures show your guys true colors. The photographer did a great job. Looking forward to working with him for the wedding, both as the mother and the Pastor performing the wedding. Have fun choosing the picture you want. Brian and Shannon I love them all. I would love a copy of each one to frame and hang on my hallway wall.
