A little over a week ago I had the honor of photographing Sheri & Dean’s wedding. It was a perfect spring day, with barely a cloud in the sky. Interlachen Country Club was new to me, so everywhere I turned there were photographic possibilities. My favorite place was the ballroom with giant floor to 2 story ceiling windows facing east. I walked into that room and instantly knew it was going to be a special day.
For both Sheri and Dean this is their 2nd marriage. 2nd weddings are some of my favorite events to cover because everyone is relaxed and all of the wedding stuff of a first wedding takes back seat to what is really important, a couple standing in front of their closest family & friends declaring their love for each other. Its so simple, beautiful and poetic.
